Mastering the Studio: Intro to Flash & Lighting
Take total control of your light. Move from the sun to the strobe.
Does the idea of studio lighting feel a bit "mad scientist"? It shouldn’t. Studio photography is simply about taking control. This workshop is designed specifically for those who have never touched a studio light but are ready to create professional, high-end imagery in a controlled environment.
We’ll break down the "black magic" of flash into simple, repeatable steps, giving you the confidence to walk into any studio space and know exactly what to do.
What You’ll Learn:
-
The Gear Guide: Navigating studio strobes, triggers, and modifiers (and why you’d choose one over the other).
-
Precision Exposure: How to use a light meter and read your histogram to get the perfect shot every time—no guessing required.
-
The Setup: We’ll offer real-world recommendations for building your own studio space, whether it’s in a professional suite or a spare bedroom.
-
Hands-On Practice: This isn't just a lecture. You’ll be setting up and firing lights to see the results in real-time.
Early Bird Special: Secure your spot now to take advantage of our early-bird pricing!
Who Is This For?
This workshop is a "ground zero" course. You don't need any prior studio experience. It’s perfect for:
-
Portrait and product photographers moving indoors.
-
Hobbyists looking to expand their technical skill set.
-
Anyone who wants to learn how to "build" light rather than just "finding" it.
